Welcome to Gorran Primary School and thank you for your interest in our school.  We pride ourselves in Gorran for the warmth and care all our staff and pupils show to everyone in our school family.  As a staff we strive to achieve the very best for all our children.   

Children learn best when home and school work together in partnership.  We strive to establish good relationships with parents on your first visit to Gorran and aim to maintain this while your child is with us and throughout their school career.  We are the first step on the road to lifelong learning and we love to hear of the continued success of our past pupils as they progress along this road. 

We had a very favourable report in our last school inspection.  In the conclusion it stated: “In the areas inspected, the quality of the education provided by this school is very good.  The school is meeting very effectively the educational and pastoral needs of the learners and has demonstrated its capacity for sustained self-improvement.”  ETI Inspection Oct 2008
